Protect and restore water quality for native fish and people.

Protect and restore terrestrial habitat for threatened and endangered species.

Identify and protect habitat linkages for wildlife

Allow natural processes such as fire and insects to play their role in shaping the landscape

Minimize threats to human communities and essential infrastructure through pre-fire planning based on scientifically-based standards

Maintain high-quality opportunities for solitude and primitive recreation including hiking, backpacking, hunting, and angling

Strength in Numbers

In the face of the all-out attack on public lands, the best response is strength in numbers from those who love these wild and scenic places.

The Citizen Task Force will work to inform, educate and organize the public around effective strategies for conservation.
